SPARX
Sparx is a scientifically driven and research based educational technology company, founded in 2010 to understand and improve the way young people learn.
I worked with the Sparx team from 2013 – 2018, developing a brand style for their learning platform. Initial design work consisted of some GUI designs. As the project developed, I worked with the content team to design a large library of vector illustrations with clear, colourful typesetting alongside fun characters, helping young people engage and enjoy learning maths in a positive, creative environment.
For secondary schools, Sparx Maths is a complete solution that supports teachers in planning, delivering and reviewing both lessons and homework throughout Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
